Leah has a great way of combining yoga practices, Emotional Freedom Technique and neuroscience into a program that has really helped me personally. The course got me to re-evaluate some of the ways that I was treating myself and viewpoints on how I treat others or hold relationships that are unhealthy. Generational trauma can never be taken away but it can be forgiven, which is the highest form of love to yourself. She was easy to work with, adaptable to my scheduling needs and sets you up with a continued practice that you can do on your own. Though challenging at times, this course has changed my life and how I interact in the world.

Leah Kumayama conducted five parenting workshops in the past three years for Lafayette Learning Center in the Morris School District Preschool Program on parenting with empathy. They were great workshops. Parents were given useful and practical strategies of what to do with their children and help them self-regulate. Leah is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in her field. We look forward to having her work with parents again in the future.

I went through Leah's 7 Steps to Self Empathy Program, and it was really great!...Leah showed me techniques to be loving and compassionate towards myself, which I am still practicing. Her experience, expertise, and perspective were so valuable to me in my own healing process. I still have some trauma (childhood, adulthood, intergenerational) that I am holding onto, so I am very grateful for Leah for showing me the tools to be able to heal from it. She provided a safe and nonjudgmental space that I was able to be vulnerable in. I have so much gratitude for Leah, and I highly recommend working with her!

Leah served as a speaker during our internal event for Mental Health Awareness Month. Leah's ability to set a welcoming and inclusive stage is truly remarkable. From the moment she began her presentation, it was clear that we were in the presence of someone deeply knowledgeable and passionate about mental health. Leah's educational background and expertise in the field shone through her every word. Her calm, engaging, and nurturing tone made complex topics accessible and relatable, creating an environment where everyone felt comfortable to engage and learn. Her insights were not only enlightening but also profoundly empowering, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees. One of the standout elements of Leah's presentation was her discussion on self-empathy, a concept that resonated strongly with our group of consultants. This theme, among others, sparked thoughtful reflection and conversation, indicating the depth of Leah's influence. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing how her talk has inspired them to adopt more compassionate approaches towards themselves and others. Leah's ability to connect with her audience and deliver content that is both impactful and actionable makes her an exceptional speaker.
